Randy Lamar Sistrunk, 46, of Anniston, was wanted in Whitfield County, Ga,. for an alleged violation of his probation on cocaine-possession charges, Lt. Fred Forsythe said.
Forsythe said officers noticed a vehicle crossed the centerline of Dearmanville Drive near Taylor Lane Monday morning. Forsythe said the driver of the car, a 37-year-old woman, was charged with driving under the influence and police discovered the passenger, Sistrunk, was a fugitive from justice.
Barbara Smith, warrants officer at the Calhoun County Jail, said Sistrunk was extradited to Georgia Tuesday afternoon.
