Twenty-six state legislators, including Sen. Paul Sanford, R-Huntsville, and Sen. Shadrack McGill, R-Woodville, were given special access to buy tickets to the Southeastern Conference Championship game at face value.
The general public, and many long-time Auburn University season-ticket holders weren't able to buy tickets to the Dec. 4 game between Auburn and South Carolina because of the limited allotment.
