John Franklin Henson of Oxford announces the engagement of his daughter, Ashley Nichole Henson, to Charles (Trey) Howard Chandler III, son of Mary Chandler of Oxford and the late Dr. Charles H. Chandler Jr. Ashley is also the daughter of the late Robin Caulder, formerly of Oxford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert and Joan Poore and Diann Caulder, all of Oxford, and Bobby and Franklin Henson of Munford.

Miss Henson is a 2009 graduate of Oxford High School and attends Jacksonville State University with plans to graduate in May 2013. She is employed by the U.S. Army Reserves and Regional Medical Center.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Chandler Sr. of Richmond, Va., and Carol Ann Harper of Ohatchee and the late William J. Harper.

Mr. Chandler is a graduate of Oxford High School and attends U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS). He is employed by USAR and is a full-time student at USMAPS.
