The Cullman Times reports that two women were arrested for an incident earlier this month at the Hanceville Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Joann Walls, who serves on the council, and Connie Martin were both served with warrants on Wednesday for a single charge each of third degree misdemeanor criminal trespassing.

The charges stem from an April 10 incident in which both women allegedly entered the treatment plant without accompaniment and were visited by Hanceville police officers, who took an incident report, while still at the scene.
