At the top is Texas -- no surprise there -- which just so happens to be where Saturday's big game will be played. (Good recruiting trip for the Tide.) Florida and California are Nos. 2 and 3. The website's information is for all Football Bowl Subdivision schools between 2008 and 2013.
Alabama comes in strong at No. 6, which, considering how many players from our state populate rosters at Alabama, Auburn, UAB, South Alabama, JSU, Troy, Southern Mississippi, Alabama State and Alabama A&M, among others, is not hard to believe. (And, yes, I know JSU and a few of those I mentioned are not in the FBS, but I didn't want to leave them out of the conversation.)
In raw numbers, Alabama provide 502 FBS-level players between 2008-13. Not bad.
