In April, the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum opened in Texas, but the good news hasn't stopped there. On Tuesday, a new Gallup poll gave the former president his highest public ratings in the last five years.
According to a report on the website Politico.com, "(Bush's) popularity has increased across all party groups from March 2009 to June 2013, with independents having a 17 percentage point change of heart. Democrats follow up with 14 percentage points toward favorable and Republicans bringing up the rear at 12 percentage points."
For comparison's sake, Gallup's latest data on President Obama show the current commander in chief with a 47 percent approval rating.
