The Alabama Education Association on Thursday got new top leadership for the first time in 42 years with the selection of former state Finance Director Henry Mabry III to succeed retiring AEA Executive Secretary-Treasurer Paul Hubbert.

The AEA board of directors also selected AEA attorney Gregory T. Graves to succeed retiring Associate Executive Secretary Joe Reed.
