It was great to hear from our youth about their recent camp week in Florida. It was great to hear of rededications and lives changes. Thank you to everyone who made it happen. They are our future. Kids- mark July 9th as Georgia Aquarium day. All you need is money for lunch and souvenirs. We were blessed to have Lizzie Zimmerman give her heart o Christ today. Amen!

Bro. George opened to Math. 7:24-27, “The Tale of Two Homes”. Look at the Leaning Tower of Pisa as an example. It was built on a poor foundation and has been tilting slowly of hundreds of years. You can not see it move but it is going, down, down, down. It is no different from homes not built on a solid foundation. Homes not built on God will not make it either. They hear God’s word but do not use it. When we look at the builders, we see one who is wise that considers his work and has concern for the future to lay out a solid foundation for his house and for his family. We see the other who is foolish.

He neglects to lay the right ground work, works in haste, takes shortcuts, and has little care.

The consequences for the fool are a total loss of what he has. Jesus tells us in our verses that the house fell and great was its fall. Friends- without setting our homes up for God, we are on sandy shores just waiting for the tide.

It is time to be concerned with your home life and your church life and get it right with God.
