He started out with a commercial cleaning business. Around the same time, he opened CD Covenant Distributors with his wife, Pam, and partners Stan and Sharon Cash. They have successfully grown the company and have shown themselves to always be conscientious in their business practices. We have seen him grow and pastor his own church in Anniston.
He was appointed to the City Council to fill the position vacated by the previous councilman in May. Marcus has many virtues to offer Anniston as a councilman. He doesn’t just talk about things, he simply gets them done. Cooperation of the council will be required to make the much-needed changes in Anniston. His easygoing nature and wisdom will go far to facilitate this cooperation.
The previous council hurt the reputation of Anniston through its infighting. Marcus Dunn is sorely needed not only to help restore the reputation of Anniston, but to move it forward.
