Don’t text and drive. Texting and driving will cause an accident. Texting and walking or doing anything will cause accidents.

The new thing now is more rear-end crashes because of texting. Every text takes your eyes off the road for five seconds. Most don’t even pause between texts, they never stop. A lot of people will die because of texting.

What are the odds? The statistics say there is a 30 percent chance someone texting will not make it home. And talking on a cell phone is 15 percent, the same as drunk driving.

Help spread the word. Don’t text and drive. Stay safe. And stay off the phone while driving.
