The Brewton Standard has an intereting story of a woman trying to smuggle drugs into the county jail.

Jessica Pace, 25, was arrested and charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (marijuana), second-degree conspiracy to promote prison contraband, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Lortab and Xanax), first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

“Agents had received information that an individual was attempting to smuggle contraband into the Escambia County Detention Center,” Davis said. “An undercover agent arranged to meet with Pace at an undisclosed location close to the Escambia County jail.”
