Davis wants to rewrite constitution
The Press-Register reports that Artur Davis wants to rewrite Alabama's constitution.
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Artur Davis today called for a rewrite of the Alabama constitution, saying he is the only candidate in the governor's race willing to replace the 1901 document.
"This is one of the fault lines in the campaign," Davis said at a news conference in Mobile. "There is one person running for governor who supports constitutional reform...I am that candidate."
