Congrats to ... Martha Knight

Martha Knight was recently awarded the Beta State Achievement award on the state level of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, International. She has been a Beta State member for 32 years. On the local Delta Beta Chapter, she served as president, first and second vice-president, secretary, historian and other committee positions. At the state level, she served as Beta State president (2009-2011); second vice- president, recording secretary, district director and as chairman of assorted state committees. She has participated in the Golden Gift seminar, and was recognized at the 2010 International Convention held in Spokane, Wash., as one of Beta State’s Women of Vision. She was inducted into the Order of the Camellia in 2011. She recently retired from the faculty of Jacksonville State University where she taught mathematics.
