The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Hoyt Fortenberry of Glencoe, Judith Fortenberry of Jacksonville, and the late Dewey and late Catherine Condit.
Ms. Condit is a 2005 graduate of Ohatchee High School, a 2008 graduate of Jacksonville State University, summa cum laude, with a bachelor of science in accounting, and a 2010 graduate of Samford University with a master of accountancy. She has been employed by MDA Professional Group, P.C., as a certified public accountant since 2008.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Albert and Nancy Cox of Ohatchee and the late Boyd and late Minnie Brown.
Mr. Brown is a 2004 graduate of Ohatchee High School, and a 2006 graduate of the NASCAR Technical Institution. He has been employed by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy sheriff since 2007.
A lakeside wedding, at the home of Donald and Betty Brown, is planned for Sept. 22, 2012.
