College football: SEC announces TV, kickoff time for Alabama-Texas A&M

CBS will televise Alabama vs. Johnny Football, the rematch.

The Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday that CBS has picked up Alabama's game at Texas A&M on Sept. 14. Kickoff will be 2:30 p.m.

CBS also televised last season's Alabama-Texas A&M game in Tuscaloosa, in which the Aggies and star quarterback Johnny Manziel handed Alabama a 29-24 loss, the Tide's only setback en route to the national championship.

The schools have met five times, with Alabama holding a 3-2-0 edge.

Other CBS games for 2013 announced Wednesday:

Oct. 19: SEC doubleheader*, 11 a.m./2:30 p.m.

Nov. 2: Georgia vs. Florida, 2:30 p.m.

Nov. 9: SEC doubleheader*, 2:30 p.m./7:30 p.m.

Nov. 29: Arkansas at LSU, 1:30 p.m.

Dec. 7: SEC Championship Game, 3 p.m.

*-Games to be announced. Other CBS games of the week will be announced six to 12 days before the game date.
