Their children include Artie (Julie) Champion of Oxford; Reese (Cindy) Champion of Oxford and Keith (Martina) Champion of Hoover.
Their grandchildren include Whitney and Eve Ann Champion; Amber, Autumn and Ada Champion, all of Oxford.
They are expecting a great-grandchild.
The couple was married May 25, 1962, at the Salvation Army in Anniston. Major Robert Tritton performed the ceremony.
