Jacksonville Christian Academy athletics director Tommy Miller said the title game between top-seeded Oxford (3-3) and third-seeded Alexandria (7-2) will take place Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Alexandria beat second-seed Jacksonville 6-5 on Monday afternoon in the semifinals to earn its way into the championship contest. Oxford’s12-2 win in five innings against Piedmont secured the Class 6A defending state champions a spot against the Valley Cubs.
