CAST kicks off its annual holiday production Wednesday with the stage adaption of Frank Capra’s classic Christmas tale, It’s a Wonderful Life.

The tale follows George Bailey (played by Jon Garlick), a frustrated businessman on the verge of suicide, and his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody (Chris Colvard). Odbody shows Bailey the impact he has had on the world around him and reignites the man’s passion for life.

Because of the holiday season, the performance dates have changed from the usual CAST schedule. The show’s only “pay-what-you-want” performance is at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16. On all other performance dates — Nov. 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 2:30 p.m. — tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students, with group rates available for parties of 12 or more. Call 256-820-2278 for more information or to reserve tickets.
