Burglars lose car keys
The Birmingham News reports on two burglars who didn't have great attention to detail.
Two burglars in Gardendale ruined their getaway this morning by losing their car keys. The pair did escape on foot but Gardendale police later detained two suspects.
The incident began about 4:30 a.m. when a homeowner in the 4400 block of Longwood Drive called police to report a burglary in progress, said Gardendale Chief Mike Walker.
