Murray Alice Beck and Donovan Craig Wilkerson were united in marriage Aug. 2, 2012, at the Henry Edmonds Chapel at Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham. Dr. Rev Conrad Sharps officiated at the service. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murray McConnell Beck of Birmingham.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Anthony Waitzman, formerly of Florence, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Earl Beck Jr., formerly of Birmingham.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Donald Craig Wilkerson of Oxford and the late Mr. Wilkerson.

He is the grandson of Mrs. George Everett Fletcher of Anniston and the late Mr. Fletcher and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ernest Wilkerson, formerly of Oxford.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Mary Augusta Beck England of Huntsville.

Best man was Donald Neil Simms of Birmingham.

The couple resides in Leeds.
