Fans of the Auburn Tigers are spending big bucks for travel packages to Glendale, Ariz., next month to watch the school's football team seek its first national title since 1957.
The packages are running as much as $3,795 per person for prime game seats, round-trip air fare from Birmingham and hotel packages. The costs could go up even more because available seats are dwindling on charter flights, said Susan McDougal of Birmingham's Adventure Travel.
