The following felony arrests were reported by the Oxford Police Department during the eight-day period ending Thursday at 7 a.m.

• Octavian Marques Monroe, 21, of Hobson City: attempted murder, first-degree burglary, attempting to commit a controlled substance crime, aggravated assault on a police officer.

• Joshua Tyler Johnson, 19, of Oxford: third-degree burglary.

• Matthew Dalton Patterson, 18, of Oxford: breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

• Rondarius Cordaryl Hines, 19, of Birmingham: unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, first-degree attempted theft of property.
