Alabama colleges adding textbook rentals to traditional sales
All those students getting ready to sell back their textbooks at the end of this semester are so old-school. The new wave is textbook rentals.
Several Alabama colleges and universities will launch textbook rental programs this fall, including the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which announced its plan Thursday. Auburn University and the University of Montevallo are also jumping on the rental bandwagon.
