Natural disasters have been hammering us like never before and have claimed thousands of victims all over the world. Earthquakes are on the increase. Nature’s latest blows include the Iceland volcano under the glacier, which started spitting ashes on March 20. The volcano god is still angry for the volcano is still acting out.

With all the natural catastrophes of recent years, one can’t help but feel the world is closing in like a circle of fire, that one day we may succumb, too. Many books have been written about the end of the world. Wild animal sightings in unusual places close to humans are on the rise. Are they the messengers of things to come?

The signs are obviously there. Futuristic catastrophe movies have been out for years. Will one of them hit the “bingo” and turn into reality?

The predictions of scientists can only take us so far. Question: Are we on the brink of Earth’s destruction and in danger of getting on the endangered species list?
