He told WSFA-TV (http://bit.ly/ODwDQG) that six were injected in Tennessee and seven in Florida. Alabama did not receive any of the original batch of recalled injections from New England Compounding Center, but Alabamians were exposed because they received treatment in neighboring states that did receive shipments.
The company has recalled its other products as a precaution. Williamson says those products went to the Alabama Outpatient Surgery Center in Jasper, Alabama Pain Physicians in Birmingham, Andalusia Regional Hospital, Birmingham Surgery Center, Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Lanier Health Services in Valley, Medical Center Enterprise, Mobile Surgery Center, Parkway Medical Center in Decatur, and Southeast Eye Clinic in Dothan.
