The Living by Faith Ministry, 3906 Pecanwood Drive, Oxford, Alabama has completed a major reconstruction/remodeling project known to the congregation as the “Nehemiah Project”. 

“And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.”  Nehemiah 1:3

Completed in two phases the project’s first phase was completed in January, 2010 with a celebration marking the end of the first phase.  This phase included reconstruction/remodeling of the fellowship hall, kitchen, education wing, and installation of a septic system.  Also during this time the pastor’s, Apostle Bob McClain, new book “Kingdomgarten Kids” was made available.  As in Nehemiah, the prayer of the ministry, is the desire to foster relationships through actions and activities that bind them into singleness of purpose.  As the physical walls of the building were being restored so were the ministry’s people being built up through the Word of God with Pastor McClain, ministering on the challenges and triumphs of Nehemiah.

The ministry now has completed the second phase of the project with another celebration scheduled.  The second phase includes a complete overhaul of the sanctuary which includes:  reconstruction/remodeling of the walls, ceiling, floors, lighting, furniture and technology.  The culmination celebration is in conjunction with the ministry’s 25^th Anniversary and the pastor’s 65^th birthday.   

The celebration will be three days beginning Friday, September 21^st at the Kingdom Place Ministry, at 7:00PM with a mix and mingle and game night; Saturday, September 22^nd at The Bridge, downtown Anniston, at 5:00PM, with Pastor L.L. Jacobs, Kelly Springs Baptist Church, Talladega, Alabama ministering with a cost of $25.00 per person for ages 12 years and up and Sunday, September 23, two services at the Living by Faith Ministry in Oxford at 9:30 AM with Pastor Bob McClain ministering and 3:00PM with the Pastor Pearlie Harris, First Christian Church, Hueytown, Alabama ministering.  Nursery service will be provided free of charge for the Saturday banquet and the services on Sunday.  The public is cordially invited to this celebration.  These events will require registration, registration forms may be downloaded from the ministry’s website:  www.livingbyfaithministry.org or by calling Living by Faith Ministry, at 256-831-0871.
