Speak Out: Giving due thanks

Aren’t we all quick to criticize and find fault? Rarely do we stop to offer words of appreciation.

I live off Choccolocco Road, and it has been a pleasure to drive past Cornerstone Church the past few days. It has put up a great flag display for the 4th of July. So, a big thank you to Cornerstone Church.

I also want to thank a car wash operation. Yes, I know, who thanks a car wash? Well, I stopped in at Anniston Super Wash at Quintard and H Street last week and was delighted and most appreciative of the service and the charming people who offered it. So, another big thank you.
