In today’s Alabama, the Republican Party is virtually unbeatable as long as the GOP backs a candidate who can fog a mirror.
That must be the reason why Democrat Parker Griffith, Gov. Robert Bentley’s opponent, is tossing around angry words in his latest political ad.
In it, Griffith calls Bentley “a failed governor” and a “coward” who has refused to expand Medicaid.
We’d prefer Griffith say this about Bentley’s Medicaid decision: Does this governor want his legacy to be that of a retired doctor who refused to help Alabamians in need?
