“Reunited” (News article, July 27):

On behalf of the Major General Patrick R. Cleburne chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, I want to express our appreciation for the excellent article in The Star about Robbin Kaylor locating her birth mother.

The writer, Laura Monroe, was successful in writing a factual yet sensitive article. We are delighted that research conducted for Robbin’s application to join our UDC group proved to have a much wider impact on her life. We are pleased that she chose our chapter for her affiliation with the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
