What is life? When God created man, he became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7.) We are a three-part being, body, soul (our will, mind, emotions) and spirit. Just as God is, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We are made in God’s image.

People of today are more concerned about their body, the outward appearance, than any other part of their being. We buy beautiful clothes, makeup to cover any flaws and perfume to make us smell good.

We neglect the most important part of our being, our spirit. This is the only part that will live forever. This is the real you. God looks on the heart. We can pretend to other people, but God sees our heart. Our bodies are like a butterfly in a cocoon. When we die, our spirit will fly to God like a butterfly will fly out of the cocoon.

Heaven is on the horizon. Are you ready for your spirit to go be with Jesus? Let God’s spirit flow out of your life. We need to live life inside out and be transparent to the world.

Thessalonians 5:23: And the very God of Peace sanctify you wholly. And I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus loves you.
