Speak Out ... On a very scary haunted house

By our readers
10-26-2001

I would like to tell all your readers about the very scary Haunted House at the Boy Scout Hall in the Piedmont Sports Complex. I think everyone will enjoy it.

It will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26 and 27. It was also open on the 19th and 20th.

These folks have put a lot of time and effort into this project to raise money for the Boy Scouts; please, let's support them.

I am just a volunteer at the Haunted House but I am having a wonderful time.

Please, come see the Haunted House and support these children. They have put their hearts in this.

Thanks

To all my family and friends in all the many churches from far and near.

I would like to take this means to publicly thank you for your prayers, cards, letters, phone calls, and visits during my treatments and time at home while I was so sick.

Thanks to Doctors Twele and Trupp and all their employees and everyone who was such a great help. I request for you all to continue to pray for my family and me.

I love you all very much.

Atheism

In response to the letters from all the "atheists" which you have published, I would just like to say that we Christians are praying that all atheists will have a change in their beliefs.

There definitely is a hell, but there will not be any atheists there because once they arrive they will believe in God and know that Satan exists without a doubt. But at that time, there will not be a chance to be saved from eternal damnation.

Now is the time to get right with God. Don't wait!

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles (Isaiah 40:31).

Dear Children

My name is Celina Brook Bush. And I am in the 2nd grade. And I go to Wellborn School. And I am 7 years old. And I feel sad. And I am sending one dollar. I made this dollar from cleaning the bathroom for my Maw Maw Shelia. And I hope other children bring a dollar. I hope things get better for them. God bless all of the children. I got a poem for you: Roses are red. Violets are blue. That means I love you.

Ten Commandments

In response to your article about Judge Roy Moore and the Ten Commandments:

The Ten Commandments were given by the God of all while Martin Luther King's speech was for the blacks only.

In God I Trust.

PS: God protect Roy Moore and justify your gifts to us.
