What next?
I have read with interest, fear, and confusion all that your paper has had to say about the upcoming incineration and what to do in the event of an accident.
My question is, if there is an accident and I seal up a room in my house, what then? How long do I stay there? Will any one check to see if we lived? Are the hospitals prepared for the possibility of thousands of people suffering from exposure?
What if I'm not at home, are there any safe places to go? What is the length of time before exposure is harmful? Lethal? How will we know what has been leaked? When will we know?
Has anyone explored the accident rates and effects of the other incinerators around the country?

Raves and drug use
Ultimately, the August 8 article in The Star "Raves are a release to the young, headache for the French government" was written by a small-minded individual who has never experienced the "rave life," the "club life," or life for that matter. There are a lot of "ravers" who go drug free! They do not sell drugs at the bars. The choice is yours, there or anywhere.
We go to listen to the DJs playing their hearts out to show us thanks for the support, to dance, to watch, for the breakers to come and showout, we go to meet people and to have fun!
Weed, heroin, coke, and ecstasy.
Now, come on. No one does heroin. Sorry, but no slammers. I know a lot of people and no one touches that.
Coke, so now it is a "rave drug" when half of the entertainment world is either caught with it or has died from it. Sorry, no ravers!
Weed, how many have died from a weed overdose? I didn't think so. Weed has been around for years. Nothing to do with ravers.
Ecstasy, "The Love Drug." One of the only ways to die is from getting something that you think is X and isn't.
That's why there are Ecstasy Test Kits so you can test before you take - that spoken from someone who has never rolled.
Basically, your article, you or any monotonous person agreeing, has never experienced and are trying to comment on something you and they know nothing of.
I am not saying go out and be a "raver." You can only be you. Be true to yourself. And don't talk unless you have experienced.

Tolerance
Anywhere you turn, the only accepted religion is Christianity, in one of it's various forms. Some people want religion in the classroom, religion in the courthouse, but the truth is they want THEIR religion to be pushed, not all religions. For those who want religion in the government, remember this, Wicca, Shinto, Jainism, Buddhism, Taoism, Satanism (which has nothing to do with the Christian 'devil,' for those who don't realize that) and so many others it isn't funny, are all religions. If you allow one, it would be unconstitutional not to allow them all.
No matter what your religious belief, as an American whose religion is protected by the Constitution you have to extend the same respect and protection to others who feel differently. That is the true meaning of freedom of religion.
