BOGARD

ANNISTON — Funeral service for Richard Lowery Bogard, 63, of Anniston will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Reaves, the Rev. Monty Bogard and the Rev. Ronny Moore officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends this evening from 5 p.m. until 7p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Bogard died Saturday at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Bogard; his father, Herschel Bogard; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Terry Deason, Lisa and Craig Vinson, Stephanie and Winston Steen and Amanda and Nick Arnold; two sisters, Betty Voight and Emily Hopkins and one brother, Monty Bogard; seven grandchildren, Haley Arnold, Russell Arnold, Caitlyn Vinson, Anthony Vinson, Leon Steen, KayLeigh Steen and Leighton Arnold; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Arnold and Kelcie Wilkinson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Butch and Lisa Perkins and Darryl and Patricia Kimbrell and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joylyn Bogard and his brother, Keith Bogard.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Arnold, David Waits, DeWayne Kimbrell, Nick Lovejoy, Eric Arnold and Mike McKay. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the ninth floor RMC, New Beacon Hospice, Dr. Warren Wallace, Dr. Rohit Patel, Dr. Mohamed Jasser and Dr. James West. COSPER

ANNISTON — Funeral service for Jerry Crawford ìCowboyî Cosper, 66, of Anniston will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hill Crest Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Cosper died Saturday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center after a long battle with cancer.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda R. Cosper of Anniston; two daughters, Debbie Cosper Bass of Woodland and Amanda Hayes Smitherman of Alexandria; one son, Stephen Cosper of Heflin; three granddaughters, Shea McCombs, Haley Burnham, Megan Hayes; five grandsons, Jeffery Chastain, T. J. Bass, Mitchell Hayes, Seth Smitherman and Will Smitherman; two great- grandsons, Kane Bowen and Lyric Chastain and two brothers, Ray Cosper of Heflin and his wife, Lucille and Gary Cosper and his wife, Jackie of Lawrenceville, Ga.. He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Hayes.

Pallbearers will be Edsell Haynes, Charlie Goode, Gerald Tice, Tim Jarman, Perry Gardner and Randy Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Inspirational Sunday School Class. Mr. Cosper was a resident of Calhoun County for the last 35 years. He was an active member of Hill Crest Baptist Church and the Inspirational Sunday School Class. He was self employed and retired from JCís Painting and Remodeling. The family request memorial contributions to Hill Crest Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society. CENTRE — Graveside services for Ms. Allison Neidig Daughtry, 44, will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Weiss Lake Memory Gardens. Ms. Daughtry passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008.

DRIGGERS

ANNISTON — Graveside services for Margaret B Driggers, age, 68 of Anniston, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Oxford Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ike Stovall and the Rev. Carl Hanners officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home. Mrs. Driggers died Friday, August 15, 2008 at Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, Venson H Driggers; son, Steve Driggers, daughter; Pamela Poulin and her husband, Ricky, son, David Driggers, son, Wayne Driggers and a sister, Virginia Dover. eight grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. JONES

JACKSONVILLE — A celebration of life service for Regina Beth Jones, 50, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Cheaha State Park Chapel with The Rev. Lloyd Watkins officiating. K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center will be in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jones died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Lee Jones; one son, Jeremy (Kara Lee) Smith; three brothers, Rodney (Anita) Campbell, Douglas (Winnona) Campbell and, Danny (Barbara) Campbell; two grandchildren, Logan and Alyssa Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Margie Campbell. She enjoyed playing cards with her loving friends and family and was thankful for everything they did for her in her time of sickness. Mrs. Jones was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. LESTER

OXFORD — Funeral service for Mr. Charles E. Lester, 82, of Oxford, who passed away August 17, 2008, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeview Baptist Church. the Rev. Jerry Starling will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. He will lie in state at the church Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Mr. Lester was born in Cleburne County. After his service life, he became a long time resident of Oxford. He was a WW II Army Veteran and received the Bronze Star. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church where he once served as a deacon. He had a life long career with Alabama Power Company with almost 40 years of service. Mr. Lester is preceded in death by his daughter Charlene Lester. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Maelene Turner Lester; children, Greg (Sue) Lester, Cindy (Ken) Quick; grandchildren, Chad (Cathy) Quick, Brandon and Rusty Quick, Michael and Lindsey Lester; great-grandchildren, Tori and Caiden Quick; brother, Donald (Yvonne) Lester; sister, Geraldine King, and several nieces and nephews.
