JORDAN

LINEVILLE — Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Williamson Jordan, 95, of Lineville, will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Barfield Baptist Church with the Rev's. Wayne Adams, John Howell and Ronald McKeever officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Jordan passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the Clay County Hospital. She was a native of Cleburne County, but had lived in Clay County since 1930. She had been employed with Higgins Manufacturing Company and had also been a lunchroom worker at Barfield School. She had been a member of Barfield Baptist Church since 1932. She is survived by, one daughter, Margaret Moore, of Barfield; one son, Jimmy Jordan (Peggy), of Barfield; grandchildren, Sharon Moore, Don Jordan (Jodi), Jim Jordan (Susie) and Larry Estes; great-grandchildren, Josh, Chase, Zach and Alli Jordan, Jesse and Tyler Jordan, Stephanie Estes and Amelia Moore; great-great-grandchildren, Gage Estes, Brody Estes-Shirah; three sisters, Ann Griffin, of Anniston, Myrtie Pullen, of Heflin, Nell Zaner, of Heflin; one brother, Clarence Williamson, of Coldwater; two sisters-in law, Frances Williamson and Lylia Williamson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Sterl Jordan; her parents, Frank A. and Ada Knight Williamson; her son in law, Johnny Moore; two sisters, Clyde Williamson and Louvenia Barker; three brothers, Gaston, Clois and Fred Williamson; and one great-great-grandson, Zach Estes-Shirah.

Pallbearers will be Don Jordan, Jim Jordan, Josh Jordan, Chase Jordan, Zach Jordan, Tyler Jordan, Gage Estes and Larry Estes. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Adult Men's and Women's Sunday School Classes at Barfield Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008 and until 1 hour prior to service time on Friday, May 9, 2008. ROME, Ga. — Graveside services for Roscoe Finley "Rocky" Lambert, 70, will be 10am CST today at Old Nazareth Cemetery. Good Shepherd Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

ALPINE — Mr. Willie L. Ledford, 79, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Citizen's Baptist Medical Center. Services will be announced by Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary.

McCOLLUM

LINEVILLE — Funeral Service for Mrs. Ruby E. McCollum, 95, will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Springhill Christian Church with the Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 p.m. and until service time Friday. Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge of the arrangements.

NUNN

ALPINE — Funeral services for Deliah "Bit" Heath Nunn, will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Kingston Baptist Church in Alpine, with the Rev. Keith B. Lawson, the Rev. Timothy Caldwell, the Rev. Richard Fair and the Rev. Tommy Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Nunn will lie in repose at the church, 1 hour prior to the service. Mrs. Nunn died Saturday, May 2, 2008 at his residence.

Survivors include, two daughters, Margaret J. Nix, of Talladega and Grace Hampton, of East Orange, N.J.; five brothers, James (Mildred) Heath, of Ashland, Walter (Johnnie) Heath, of Childersburg, John P. Heath, of Alpine, Eddie Heath, of Alpine and Wiley (Nellye) Heath, of Alpine; two sisters, Area Adams, of Gadsden and Marie Heath, of Anniston; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory; parents, Jim (Lessie) Heath; three brothers; one sister. Mrs. Nunn was a dedicated and faithful member of Kingston Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board for many years and had worked for Mr. Ed King for over 30 years.

STEDHAM

ALEXANDRIA — Funeral services for Mr. Charles W. Stedham, 63, of Alexandria, will be 2 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2008 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family invites friends for visitation this evening at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Mr. Stedham passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at his residence.

Survivors include, his wife, Evelyn T. Stedham, of Alexandria; daughters, Sherri S. Hopkins and husband, Rodney, of Alexandria, Stacey S. Adams and husband, Shawn, of Weaver and Summer Murray Moses and husband, Josh, of Alexandria; sister, Kay S. Taylor and husband, Earl, of Florida; brothers, Cecil W. Stedham, Jr. and wife, Donna, of Weaver, Wayne D. Stedham and wife, Brenda, of Saks, Richard E. Stedham and wife, Linda, of Saks, Glenn E. Stedham and wife, Anita, of Weaver, Garry A. Stedham and wife, Connie, of Eastaboga and Eldon "Butch" Medders, of Weaver; grandchildren, Logan and Morgan Hopkins, Forrest Richter, Griffin Adams, Tyler Murray and Andruw Moses; five nieces and five nephews.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Hopkins, Shawn Adams, Josh Moses, Rikki Stedham, Tommy Stedham, Jimmy Dodd, Bobby Thrash and Matt Bollinger. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny, Wayne, Richard, Glenn and Garry Stedham, Butch Medders, Roland Cook, Mike Burdette and grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil W. Stedham, Sr. and Sarah E. Nunnally Stedham; brother, Wayne "Stock" Stockinger; grandparents, U.G. and Artie Mae Stedham and Tom and Balma Nunnally. Mr. Stedham was a native of Alabama and resident of Alexandria. He was employed with Liberty National 10 years, S.C. Johnson and Sons for 23 years, and Crossmark for 11 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was an avid Alabama fan and partial owner of the Sand Baron Estates in Destin, Fla.
