CRAFT

ANNISTON — A private funeral service for Bridgette Jane Craft, 48, who passed away April 18, 2008, was Wednesday at Forestlawn Gardens Mausoleum. the Rev. John Childs and The Rev. David Gray officiated and Miller Funeral Home and Cremation Services directed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Madelyn Craft. Bridgette is survived by her sister, Valrie Craft Bain; brother, Alton Craft and wife, Margie; nephews, Craig Bain, Joshua Craft, Aaron Craft; and niece, Hannah Craft. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School, Class of 1997 and was a nurse with Beverly Health Care for 23 years. Honorary pallbearers were Brian Stovall, Bobby Buchanan, Vic Hall, Larry Gardner, Sal Gardner, Stanley Merrill and Leon Smith.

LOTT

WETUMPKA — Funeral services for Virginia Waddle Lott will be at Friday morning at 10:00 in Trinity Episcopal Church, Wetumpka. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Anniston at 3:30 p.m. Mrs. Lott died Tuesday at the University of Alabama Coronary Intensive Care Unit following surgery to correct the effects of pulmonary hypertension. Her death occurred before donor tissue could be found for a heart and double-lung transplant. She was 33 years old. Before her disability, she worked for Miller Development Group, where her clients were the Alabama Library Association, the Alabama Alarm Association and the Alabama Prosthetic & Orthotic Association. As an active member of The Church Ladies of Trinity Episcopal Church, Virginia was a contributor and organizer for Shall We Gather, Recipes and Remembrances of a River Town. Mrs. Lott grew up in Anniston, where she was an acolyte at Grace Episcopal Church and a student at The Donoho School. She was a graduate of Auburn University, where she also earned a Master's Degree in public administration. Brian Lott, her husband, survives her. He is a senior programmer analyst for InfoPro Corp. in Montgomery. Other survivors are her parents, Chris and Sherrell Waddle, of Anniston; her brother, Hardin Waddle and his wife, Amanda; her father-and mother-in-law, Wendell and Myra Lott, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and grandmother, Doris Waddle, of Bedford, Texas, as well as Opal Grigsby Giles, Brian Lott's grandmother.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Carter, Bradley Hall, Brett Isom, Jason Larson, Jebb Long and Mike Rief. HEFLIN — Funeral services for Bobby Gene McMahan, 67, will be at 3 p.m. today from Poplar Springs Primitive Baptist Church with Miller Funeral Home of Tallapoosa, Ga. in charge.

PARKE

ANNISTON — Services for Perry Eugene Parke Sr., will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2008, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Harper officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens. Perry E. Parke Sr. went home to the Lord on April 23, 2008, at the age of 66, after a year long bout with cancer. He was comforted by his family and friends at home. He was born on March 16, 1942. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert A. and Rebah Parke of Youngstown, Ohio. Perry was a devoted father and husband. He was retired from both the Army (1980) and Anniston Army Depot (2007) and held various jobs during his career. He held degrees from Gadsden State and JSU and was a member of Saks Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Kiker Parke; five sons, Richard and Kathey Lively, of Ohatchee, Warrant Officer Perry E. Jr., home from Iraq, and Julie Parke, of Seattle, Wash. and Aaron Wayne and Jennifer Parke, of Oxford, Bobby Parke and Gary Parke, both of Columbus, Ga. and daughter, Lisa and Stacey Bennett, of Anniston. He also leaves 12 grandchildren, Matthew Owens, Richard Hicks, Joseph Perry Wilson, Jaclyn Parke, Leslie Bennett, Lee Smith, Brandon Barbre, Damian Lively, Savanna Sanford, Jacob Parke, Brinley (Kermie) Parke and Dylan Jay Parke. Perry has four sisters, Faye Bennett of Struthers, Ohio, Mary Ann Lewis of Youngstown, Ohio, Edith Rowe, of Struthers, Ohio and Sandra Kuzniak of Girard, Ohio. HUNTSVILLE — Margaret Perry, 78, died Sunday, April 20, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence D. Perry. She was a member of the Huntsville Park Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Lawrence Perry, of Atlanta, Steve Perry, of Hawaii, and Mark Perry, of Huntsville; one sister, Betty Wooster, of Huntsville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday at Huntsville Park Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at the church with Bro. Roger Berry officiating.
