ANNISTON — Graveside service for Ms. Teri Huddleston Chauncey, 48, will be at 2 p.m. today, April 23, 2008 at Eulaton First Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Huddleston officiating. Chapel Hill Funeral Home will be in charge of service. Ms. Chauncey passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at her residence.

Survivors include her daughter, Anna Chauncey of Anniston and son James Chauncey, of Anniston; parents, Alfred and Betty Huddleston, of Anniston; sister, Alice Huddleston and husband, Jim Whitson, of Americus, Ga.; brothers Randy Huddleston and wife, Dawn, of Oxford and Robert Huddleston and wife, Becky, of Anniston; grandchild, Lacie Johnston; niece, Brooke Huddleston and nephew, Cole Huddleston. OXFORD — Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Hansen, 67, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Harvest Church of God with Bishop Jerry Irwin officiating. Interment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Hansen went home to meet her Savior on Monday, April 21, 2008. She lived the last 33 years in Oxford, spending much of that time caring for and ministering to others. She retired from Anniston Army Depot in 1995 but her "work" continued on. She worked hard to live a Godly life, provide for her family, and show others God's great love. No one will miss this beautiful and Godly woman more than the family she leaves behind. She is survived by her husband, Herman Hansen of Oxford; her children, Rick Hansen, of Oxford, Regina Coley and her husband, Stan, of LaGrange, Ga., and Rodney Hansen and his wife, Sharon, of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Don Johnson, of Anniston, Franklin Johnson, of Oxford, Harold Johnson, of Boaz, and Wayne Johnson of Huntsville; and grandchildren, Chris Hansen, Seth Hansen, Dustin Coley, and Kristen Coley. JACKSONVILLE — Funeral service for Rodney Freeman Lambert, 63, will be Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Rev. Garry Brown officiating. Burial will be in Nances Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6-8 p.m. Mr. Lambert died Monday at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Laverne Lambert, of Jacksonville; three sons, Rodney Lambert Jr. and his wife, Manya, of Jasper, Tenn., Raymond Lambert, of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Patrick Lambert and his wife, Cheryl, of Wellington; his mother, Geneva Lambert, of Pell City; two sisters, Sylvia Staples, of Pell City and Deborah Champion and her husband, Tony, of Atlanta; seven grandsons; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons. Mr. Lambert was a Christian who attended Nances Creek Baptist Church for more than 20 years. An avid hunter and all around outdoorsman. He worked at Fort McClellan as a firefighter for 22 years. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for four years and was a member of Hiram Lodge #42 F&AM. O'ROURKE

OXFORD — Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha O'Rourke will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Miller Funeral Home & Crematory with the Rev. Wayne Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Eastaboga Baptist Cemetery. Bertha Viola Newman O'Rourke went home to the Lord on April 22, 2008, at the age of 72, after a year long bout with colon and bladder cancer. She was comforted by her family and friends at home. She was born on May 19, 1935 to Irene and John Newman in Burke County Georgia. Bertha was a devoted mother and Army wife. She held various jobs throughout her life to include nurse, receptionist and most recently office manager for Bradford Health

Services for 11 years. She was the widow of Master Sergeant (Retired) Michael Arthur O'Rourke, U.S. Army. She is survived by two sons, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Michael J. Lentz, of Bartow, Fla., John P. O'Rourke, of Oxford; and three daughters, Lena R. Wiggins, of Talladega, Michele A. Tyler, of Hayden, and Tammy R. Cucci, of Fort Payne. She also leaves eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Bertha has two brothers, Lawrence Newman, of Salem, Ark. and Harold Newman, of Dothan. She also has four sisters, Genevieve Newman, of Atlanta, Beatrice Doyle, of Sylvania, Ga., Mary Edenfield, of Dawsonville, Ga. and Johnnie Lorenz of Macon, Ga. She was preceded in death by brother's Ralph Newman, of French Camp, Miss. and Everett Newman of Waynesboro, Ga. as well as a sister, Connie Jordan of Birmingham.

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Funeral Mass for U.S. Army Sgt Sergio Agustin Sanchez, 22, will be on Thursday, April 24, 2008, 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Anniston with Father Bryan Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 5-8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home. Sgt. Sanchez is survived by his mother, Guadalupe Sanchez, of Anniston; father, Sergio A. Sanchez, of Yuma, Ariz.; sister, Diana Sanchez, of Anniston. Sgt. Sanchez was in the 407th Combat Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, N.C.
