Michael Audie Beam, Fort Payne FORT PAYNE — Funeral service for Mr. Michael Audie Beam, 91, will be 2 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation from 12-2 today at the funeral home. LINCOLN — Mary Juanita Royster Clark, 84, of Lincoln, Ala., died February 29, 2008. Funeral service for Mrs. Clark will be 2 p.m today, at Kilgroe Chapel in Pell City, with the Rev. Billy Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Millerville Baptist Cemetery in Clay County. Visitation will be from 12-2 today, at the chapel. Survivors include a daughter, Anita Gillham; grandchild, Daniel Gillham; great-grandchild, Corrina Gillham. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Clark; son, Ron Clark; and grandson, Jim Gillham. Pallbearers will be Scott Cotney, Brad Cotney, Steve Cotney, Sam Royster, Gary Mask and Steve Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Chester Cotney and Ross Cotney. Kilgroe Funeral Home-Pell City will direct the services. JACKSONVILLE — Margaret Alma Ingram Clinkscales, 102, of Jacksonville, Ala., died February 28, 2008. Funeral service for Mrs. Clinkscales will be 2 p.m Monday, March 3, 2008, at Kilgroe Funeral Home with the Bro. Curtis Rush and the Bro. Derrick Staples officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home Survivors include a daughter, Sue Clinkscales (Parker) Granger, of Jacksonville; three granddaughters, Maggie Granger, of Lakeland, Fla., Jenny Granger (Andrew) Stockton, of Athens, Amy Granger (Eric) Schavey, of Chesterfield, Va; two great-grandsons, Mitchell and Jacob Stockton, of Athens; sister-in-law, Juanita Ingram, of Cropwell; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Clinkscales was a graduate of Jacksonville State Normal School (now Jacksonville State University). She was the oldest graduate. She taught school 44 years at Iola Roberts Elementary School and then was a substitute teacher. She started teaching in a one room school. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Pell City and attended the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. She loved to quilt and was the only babysitter for her three granddaughters. Kilgroe Funeral Home-Pell City will direct the services. WEAVER — Funeral Service for Mrs. Frances Cobb, 84, of Weaver, will be 2 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2008, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. Otis Whittington officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Cobb passed away Friday at Regional Medical Center. (256) 236-3441 ALPINE — Graveside rites for Mrs. Julia Cook Donahoo, 96, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home NEWNAN, Ga. — Julia Harvard Warnock, 85, a resident of Wesley Woods in Newnan, Ga., died on February 26, 2008. The daughter of Perry Wimberly Harvard and Hugh Harvard, she and her twin sister Elizabeth (deceased) were born in Atlanta on September 17, 1922. After graduating from North Avenue Presbyterian School (NAPS) in Atlanta, Mrs. Warnock attended Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga., and earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry in 1944. Shortly after graduation, Mrs. Warnock married her late husband, Robert Perry Warnock, whom she met while he was attending Emory University. They settled in his hometown of Anniston, where she lived for over 50 years and was a member of the Anniston Civitan Club, Algonquin's, DAR, and many other community organizations. Mrs. Warnock was a member of First United Methodist Church in Anniston, where she and husband Bob were part of a group that formed their own Sunday School Class to study the Bible in depth, as well as to study other major religions of the world. Studying, teaching, and reading were all lifelong passions as vocation as well as avocation. Even after she retired as a science teacher at Johnston Junior High School, she continued to teach and tutor many of the community's children at the Alpha One Lab. She was an ardent member of Friends of the Library and read three or four books per week, usually reading several concurrently. Surviving are two daughters, Wimberly Warnock and husband, Van Caswell, of Atlanta, and Jan Warnock, of Clearwater, Fla.; two sons, Robert P. Warnock III, of San Mateo, Calif. and Hugh H. Warnock and wife, Valerie, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and two grandchildren (Jan's children), Amanda and Austin Schoeck, of Clearwater, Fla. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008, at the chapel of Forestlawn Gardens & Mausoleum on Golden Springs Road in Anniston, with Dr. Bobby Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga.
