Ruth M. Hutchison, Anniston ANNISTON — Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth M. Hutchison, 73, will be announced by Anniston Funeral Service. Mrs. Hutchison died April 23, 2007 at Stringfellow Hospital. OHATCHEE — Memorial services will be announced at a later date by the family for Mr. Jason Thomas Johnson, age 23, of Ohatchee. Mr. Johnson passed away at his residence, April 22, 2007. Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughter Hailey Ragsdale, of Ashville; son, Stephen Ragsdale Johnson, of Ashville; parents, Jerry and Susie Johnson, of Ohatchee; sister, Stacey Coley and husband Brandon, of Anniston; brothers, Jeremiah Johnson, of Ohatchee, Keith Johnson and wife Stephanie, of Anniston, Adam Johnson and wife, Misty, of White Plains; grandparents, Charles and Sue Smith, of Anniston; great-grandmother, Harriet Jordan, of Louisa, Ky.; nieces and nephews, Dalona Johnson, Jerry Jacob Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson Jr, Alyssa Johnson, Samantha Hodge, Destiny Johnson, Gage Johnson, Colton Johnson, Zachary Elmore, Alex Coley, Shae Coley and Samantha Coley. Mr. Johnson was a native of Calhoun County and resident of Ohatchee. He was employed at Model City Erection. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Richard Smith; grandparents Emmett and Lou Emma Johnson; great-grandfather, Junior Jordan; aunt, Nellie Blankenship; uncles, Johnny Johnson and Wilburn Johnson. Sims Funeral Service will announce arrangements. DETROIT, Mich. — Mrs. Helen Montgomery, 62, of Detroit, Mich., died Monday. Sims Funeral Service will announce arrangements at a later date. ANNISTON — Funeral Service for Randy D. Pearson, 23, of Anniston will be announced by Goodson Funeral Home. Mr. Pearson died Sunday in Anniston. www.goodsonfuneralhome.net HOBSON CITY — Funeral services for Mr. Martrelle (Boo) Todd, age 34, of Hobson City will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Word Alive International Outreach Ministries in Coldwater, Ala., with Pastor Kent Mattox officiating. Burial will be in the Hobson City Memorial Gardens with Anniston Funeral Service in charge. The body will be at the church two hours prior to services. Mr. Todd passed away on April 21, 2007 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Survivors include: son, Joshua Todd; his mother, Deneva Barnes; a friend, Chantrece Martin; four sisters, Tamar (Terrance) Heard, of Weaver, Ala., Deandra (Toby) Young, of Lee's Summitt, Mo., Shani Forbes, of Birmingham, Ala., Chudney Miller, of Oxford, Ala.; one brother, Demetrice (Raquel) Young, of Houston, Texas; three nieces, Shayla Young, Destiny Young, Ja'Miah Heard; three nephews, Demetrice Young Jr, Jaden Young, and Darius Young; six uncles, Charles Calhoun, of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., Franklin (Barbara) Todd, of Keller, Texas, Bobby Todd, of Las Vegas, Nev., Jimmy Todd, of Hobson City, Ala., Eric Todd, of Jacksonville, Ala., Fred Mackey, of Hobson City, Ala.; five aunts, Jean Giles, of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., Sandra (James) Rudolph, of Anniston, Emily Mackey, of Detroit, Mich., and Edith Mackey, of Hobson City, Ala. and Cynthia (Reno) Mackey-Shorter, of Clinton, Miss.; one great-aunt, Annie Pearl Mackey, of Anniston; two best friends, Cedric (LaKisha) Ball and Carlos Middleton. Pallbearers will be Cedric Ball, Carlos Middleton, Cedric Scott, Delano Ball, Tonika Wilson, Tracy Cunningham and Cordrea Ward. Flower bearers will be Oxford High School Class of 1991. Mr. Todd was employed as an Information Technology Specialist at ITC Delta Com and Williams Barber Shop. A 1991 graduate of Oxford High School and a member of the United Christian Church in Gadsden, Ala. In lieu of flowers, the family request that monetary donations be made to AmSouth Bank in Oxford, Ala., to fund the Joshua Todd's Scholarship Fund. Waldrop, 101, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home Chapel in Lineville with The Revs. Gordon Taylor and Claude Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 this evening and until service time on Thursday. Benefield/Lineville in charge of the arrangements. WOODLAND — Funeral service for Robert "Murphy" Wilson, will be 2 p.m. Thursday from Prospect C M Church. Visitation from 4 to 8 this evening at Benefield Funeral Home. |
