As a homeowner on McClellan and an active member of the Homeowner's Association, I think it is a shame that a change like this can be made without the immediate communities input. We have been contacting the apartments about the need for upkeep for over a year. While I am glad for the remodeling efforts that will be happening, I am disappointed that good people will be forced to move. And how can a single person afford $530 a month rent on $21,720 a year? I'm glad they will be doing background checks. But still, why force good people who can pay the rent to move? Because the owners get a nice FAT tax credit for it that's why.

Absolutely idiotic to put an income limit on these apartments. Forcing tenants to move out if they make too much??? Someone needs a dose of pull their head out of some place dark, bacteria filled, and odiferous.
