Juneteenth celebration is Saturday

Music and dance combine to celebrate Anniston's annual Juneteenth festival this Saturday at Zinn Park. The events run from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Some of the bands performing include Anniston's D-S-B and Universal Records artist LaJaye. Also, included in the entertainment are poetry readings, talent contests and a step competition.

An after-party at The Complex, on West 20th Street and Cobb Avenue, starts at 9 p.m.
