Tabitha Kiker slings her rope around as she gives chase to a calf that her dad Tommy had just released from the chute. Tabitha, a ninth grader at Pleasant Valley, won the state championship in the breakaway roping event at the High School Rodeo Championships. That qualified her to compete in the Nationals in Wyoming.
