When students from local high schools fill the seats at the Anniston Performing Arts Center Thursday, there’s a good chance they’ll know more about that night’s symphony performance than many of the adults in attendance. That’s because about 250 students from Wellborn, Saks, Anniston and Oxford high schools got a special lesson from the Knox Concert Series to help prep them for the performance from Opole, the philharmonic orchestra of Poland.
