The Health Services Center, a non-profit HIV/AIDS health organization in Anniston is hosting a fund-raising event, "Cocktails and Quesadillas," Friday, May 2 at the Landmark in Gadsden. Birmingham's rock/funk band Peanut will perform. There will also be a silent auction for items including a cabin for three nights on Smith Lake, a gas grill, outdoor fire pit, golf packages, autographed sports memorabilia and more.

Tickets are $15 for individuals and $25 for couples and may be purchased in advance or at the door. Call Kelli or Julie at 832-0100 for more information, to purchase tickets or make a donation.
