After new versions of The Hitcher and Halloween arrived in theaters last year, it was only a matter of time until someone got the bright idea of remaking Prom Night, the 1980 slasher pic that starred then-Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis. Prom Night '08 features a bevy of new hot girls/murder victims, including Brittany Snow, Dana Davis and Jessica Stroup, who are stalked by a serial killer the night of the senior prom. The Wire's Idris Elba plays the detective tasked with capturing the murderer before prom is canceled ... permanently.
