About Time Antiques to show vintage bicycle collection
Although he doesn't bike, Annistonian Ron Miller has one of the coolest bike collections around. In honor of this weekend's festival and race, some of Miller's vintage bicycles will be on display at About Time Antiques. Miller has been collecting bicycles since 1992, when he got a Western Flyer replica bike from his wife as a gift. He now has 40-45 bikes in his collection, but will only be showing the best ones this weekend. Depending on the condition, the bikes are worth anywhere from several hundred to several thousand dollars. Miller is also the co-author of Out-Spokin': Pedals, Prose, and Respoken Tales, a book with illustrations of his and other bicycles. |
