Chelsea Randle, a senior at Alexandria High School, recently signed a softball scholarship with the Belhaven Lady Blazers at Belhaven College in Jackson, Miss. She will be attending the college in the fall. The Boys and Girls Club of East Central Alabama summer programs are to be May 27-August 1. The Boys and Girls Clubs offer educational and fun field trips and sporting activities. The ages are six-18 with a cost of $25 weekly. Registration is to begin Monday. Call 236-7050 for more information.

Chief Ladiga 5K Challenge/Kids Fun Run, sponsored by the Jacksonville Lions Club, is to be at 8 a.m., April 19 at Pete Matthews Coliseum at the Jacksonville State University Campus.
