Michael Walker, owner of NAAN Productions and a piano-by-ear instructor, held his first recital on June 1 at Faith Outreach Ministries in Anniston. Walker believes this is the first recital of its kind in this area. No sheet music was involved. All students played their songs by ear. There were eight students who performed: Steven Buchanan, Vanessa Chatman, RJ Haygood, Mikaela Kirkland, Michael O'Neal, Rod Ray, LaTonya Warren and Mark Young. The students' age range is from 7 to 48. There were approximately 65 people in attendance. The event was a huge success.
