Brittany Paige of Oxford and Eric Battles of Anniston recently won Duo of Year in the 13-17 age group at the Alabama Country & Gospel Music Association (ACGMA) in Birmingham on Nov. 1. They will now compete in the national competition in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., at the North American Country Music International to be held at the Country Tonite Theatre in March 2009. Battles also won the Most Promising entertainer of the Year and the Most Promising Vocalist of the Year while Paige won the Entertainer of the Year and Most Promising Vocalist of the Year.
