Pfc. Michael A. Hill recently returned home after a 14-month deployment to Iraq in Operation Enduring Freedom. He is a member of the 82nd Airborne stationed in Ft. Bragg, N.C. Pfc. Hill is the husband of Amanda Carlson Hill and the son of Pamela Hill of Anniston and Dee Hill of Huntsville. His wife, Amanda, is the daughter of David and Rhonda Carlson of Anniston.
Army Spec. Michael A. Ruiz, a 1989 graduate of The Donoho School and a 1997 graduate of Auburn University, recently graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. He is the stepson of Robert Jones of Anniston.
