Piano students perform in recital, receive rewards

Dr. Susie F. Dempsey, professor emerita of JSU, presented end of the year studio awards to three talented students at her studio recital in May in the chapel of Parker Memorial Baptist Church. Shea O'Donnell was the most improved student. Kali Berry received the advancement in music theory award and Lauren Ingram was piano student of the year. O'Donnell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall O'Donnell. Ingram is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Russell Ingram, all of Jacksonville. Berry is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Berry of Hokes Bluff.
